Annual Monthly Average with Cap (Continued)

Once the percentage change is calculated, the interest rate will be subject to a Cap. The interest rate credited for the term will never be higher than the defined Cap for this strategy. The Cap is guaranteed to never be below 1%.

A positive index change will be limited by applying the Cap to the percentage change in the index.

If the index change is negative or zero, then the interest rate credited will be zero.
